Olhos de Água - means Eyes of Water in Portuguese because of the fresh spring water that can be seen bubbling up through the sand at low tide.

A small intimate fishing village, Olhos de Água nestles within red-orange sandstone cliffs on some of the most stunning coastline on the Algarve. Whilst tourism is now the main industry, development of the village has remained selective with low level high quality buildings.
