Just 25 minutes from Faro International Airport Olhos de Água is a highly sought after holiday destination and many people return there every year. Centrally located between Albufeira/Oura for nightlife and Vilamoura for its extensive golf and marina the village retains its intimate feel. Flights are around 2-3 hours from UK/Ireland and Faro is well served by the low-cost/charter airlines as well as British Airways and TAP Air Portugal.

Beaches - Praia da Falesia - running between Olhos de Água and Vilamoura this is a beautiful long beach backdropped by orange-red sandstone cliffs which is uncrowded even during the peak Summer periods. In the opposite direction towards Albufeira the beaches are smaller set in interesting coves with rockpools and the ever changing coastline to explore.

Golf - extensively catered for on the Algarve - Vilamoura is a 10-minute drive with its numerous golf courses and large marina. Small developments such as Balaia Golf Village and Pine Cliffs are nearby. Around 25 minutes away are the Golfing centres of Quinta do Lago and Vale do Lobo.

Water/Amusement Parks - include The Big One, Slide & Splash, Atlantico and Zoomarine - big water slides great fun for the kids. Zoomarine also has exciting displays with dolphins, seals, sea-lions and birds of prey.
